About Judi

Speaker Judith T. Won Pat Dr. Judith T. Won Pat, a well recognized public figure is no stranger to the community. She is known for her advocacy on issues regarding education, social justice, and cultural preservation. She has served as a senator since the 24th Guam legislature and in 2008 was voted to speaker. With her extensive experience and dedication in the education system working as a teacher, guidance counselor, assistant principal, and principal, she was appointed as acting Chairperson for the Committee on Education. Additionally, she founded Fuetsan Famalao’an (“Strength of Women”), a women’s leaders group created to address cultural and social impacts to women and young girls as a result of a military influx. Dr. Won Pat received her doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of San Diego and completed her master’s in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Guam.
